PREPAYMENT IS REQUIRED

You will be required to pay for your appointment at the time of booking. Your card will be charged the full amount stated on each appointment-no matter the service.

When you click “BOOK APPOINTMENT” please note your card will be charged. This is to ensure all time sessions are confirmed and all guests will come at the time they book for.

Changing Looks Salon Policies & Guidelines

At Changing Looks Salon, we strive to provide a welcoming, professional, and relaxing environment for our clients and stylists. Please review our policies to ensure the best experience for everyone.

1. Parking

Parking is available on-site. Please use designated spots and be mindful of other businesses.

2. Children & Minors Policy

Children and minors 16 years old and under must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian. Parents or guardians are required to:

  • Attend the appointment with their child.

  • Explain what services they want.

  • Approve and agree to the stylist’s plan before services begin.

This ensures the child’s safety, helps the stylist make the right decisions, and maintains a professional environment. Unaccompanied minors will not be serviced.

3. No Extra Guests

Only clients with scheduled appointments are allowed in the salon. Exceptions include parents accompanying minors or individuals requiring assistance.

4. Payments & Service Concerns

Each stylist at Changing Looks operates independently. All service payments, questions, and concerns should be handled directly with your stylist.

5. Appointment, Prepayment & Cancellation Policy

  • Prepayment is required to secure all appointments. Payments are made directly to your stylist.

  • Cancellations require at least 24 hours’ notice to avoid a cancellation fee.

  • No-call/no-shows will result in a full-service charge and may require prepayment for future bookings.

6. Product Returns & Exchanges

Products may be exchanged if used only once and are at least 90% full. Unopened products may be returned or exchanged within 14 days of purchase. No refunds on opened items.

7. Pets in the Salon

Our salon mascot, Max, occasionally visits, but client pets are not allowed unless pre-approved by management. If permitted, pets must remain leashed and with their owner at all times.

Our Cancellation Policy

  1. 48‑Hour Cancellation Window
    • You have 48 hours from the time you book your appointment to cancel for a full refund to your original payment method.
    • Cancellations made after this 48‑hour booking window are not eligible for a cash refund, but will receive an electronic gift card in the full amount paid.

  2. Health & Safety Rescheduling
    You may always reschedule without penalty if, within 14 days of your appointment, you:

    • Develop a cough or fever

    • Have been in contact with anyone exhibiting those symptoms

    • Live with someone who has tested positive for COVID‑19 and not yet recovered

    • Traveled outside of Connecticut

  3. Late‑Cancellation Fee
    For all other cancellations or no‑shows inside 48 hours of the scheduled date/time, a fee applies and a new appointment cannot be booked until the fee is settled.

RESCHEDULING/ CANCELLATIONS

We ask that you reschedule your appointment if:  

1. You have a cough or fever within 14 days prior to your appointment

2. You have been in contact with ANYONE with those symptoms

3. You live with anyone who has been tested POSITIVE for COVID-19 & has not recovered.

4. If you have traveled outside of Connecticut in the past 14 days of your appointment date.

If you do not cancel or reschedule your appointment within 48hrs of your scheduled date/time, you will be charged a fee & you will not be able to make another appointment until that fee is paid.

*WE RESERVE THE RIGHT TO REFUSE SERVICE IF WE FEEL YOU ARE SICK OR A RISK TO ALL PARTIES IN THE SALON.
